Baker (ベイカー Beikā), most likely a surname, is a minor character in Clock Tower. He is a member of Professor Fiero's sociology laboratory in the University Research Building. He appears to be carrying on an affair with his fellow coworker, Rose, explaining why he is in the building after closing hours.

Clock Tower

In Helen Maxwell's scenario, he is the first victim of Scissorman, having been killed prior to Scenario 1. Scissorman then uses his corpse to trick Helen into opening the door to the women's lounge, thus allowing Scissorman to attack her.

Baker does not make an appearance in Jennifer Simpson's scenario.

Adventure Novels

In the Japanese novelization, Baker's head was severed, stuck on a stick, and used by Scissorman to trick Helen in unlocking the women's lounge.

Trivia

• Baker was most likely inspired by Laura Harrington of Clock Tower: The First Fear, as both their corpses were used by Scissorman to deceive the protagonist, albeit in different ways.
