The Mikoshi Amulet (ミコシサマ Mikoshi-Sama) is an item in Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within.
Background[]
During Alyssa Hale's childhood, after discovering that she has a split personality, Allen Hale purchased the Amulet from a portable Mikoshi shrine and gave it to her, telling her to keep it with her, no matter what.
At some point during Alyssa's school life, she didn't have the Amulet with her while being harassed by two boys, resulting in Bates taking over and killing them.
Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within[]
The Amulet can be set down in certain places such as drawers and lockers anywhere in the game if the player wishes for Bates to take over Alyssa's body. However, to let Alyssa take over again, the player must find the Amulet and retrieve it.
