Lady Natalya Burroughs (née Hamilton) is a minor character in Clock Tower 3, mentioned in the documents Book of Entities 4 and Dick's Notes 5. She was an ancestor of Nancy Hamilton, who lived in the early seventeenth century.
Appearance[]
From her portrait found in the Burroughs Castle, Natalya has curly, bright ginger hair in an updo, and blue eyes. She is depicted in a long, flowing white dress.
Biography[]
Natalya was the wife of Darcy Burroughs, mother of Annabel Burroughs and step-mother of William Burroughs. When her husband was fifty, he learned of the Ritual of Engagement and began plotting to perform it on Annabel to attain immortality. However, Annabel was killed in a carriage accident, the day before her fifteenth birthday, before he could do so. Heartbroken, Darcy fell into deep depression, which soon turned to anger as he massacred much of his staff, in addition to many of the villagers who lived on his land. Natalya attempted to console him, but this only inflamed him further, and eventually lead her to be murdered by him as well.
Etymology[]
The name Natalya means "birthday." This could be an allusion to how her daughter, Annabel, died before her fifteenth birthday. It could also refer to Alyssa Hamilton turning fifteen during the final part of the game.
