The Pistol is a weapon in Clock Tower and Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within.
Clock Tower
The pistol is only found and used in Helen's Scenario. Given to Helen Maxwell by Stan Gotts, it only has two purposes: to shoot the padlock on the chapel doors to enter the chapel area of the Barrows Castle; and to allow Helen to shoot Samuel Barton, who was disguised as Scissorman, to save Jennifer Simpson in the chapel.

Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within
The pistol is one of the three weapons available in-game. It is used by Bates, Alex Corey, Shannon Lewis (in Ending H), and Allen Hale. Ammo is limited to 5 in each round and it only focuses on one targeting point.

Desk drawer in the guest bedroom (requires Drawer Key)
